Jimmy Spratt
Jimmy Spratt MLA:
- Married for over thirty years, with four grown up sons
- Joined RUC in 1972, 30 year service in Londonderry and Belfast
- Worked for Close Protection Unit including as Primary Protection Officer - attached to former Secretary of State, NIO Ministers, Chief Constable and other VIPs
- Became heavily involved in Police Federation, acting as Chairman until retirement
- Founding Director of Harp and Crown Credit Union
- Served on Government Committees at regional and national level representing British Police Service - served on Home Office Working Group for Health and Safety and Police Negotiating Board for pay and conditions across the UK
- Regularly conducted entensive briefings at embassies and to senior politicians at Westminster and Stormont
- Independent member of District Policing Partnership
- Currently employed within environmental field
- Assistant Secretary of local Presbyterian church
- Election Agent/ Campaign Manager for MP and Assembly Members
- Vice chair of Castlereagh DUP branch, and Press Officer of Constituency Association
- Prior to joining RUC was former Chairman of Moneyreagh Young Unionist branch
