Leadership Team
Standards for Subject Co-ordinators
The curriculum leadership team will
operate within the following areas:
| The Arts (including art and design,
music and opportunities to incorporate drama); Mrs McClintock will act as
the co-ordinator within the present operational plan. |
| Language and Literacy (including
talking and listening, reading and writing and opportunities to incorporate
drama); Mrs Russell will act as the co-ordinator within the present
operational plan. |
| Mathematics and Numeracy (focusing
on the development of mathematical concepts and numeracy across the
curriculum); Mrs Coates will act as the co-ordinator within the present
operational plan. |
| Personal Development (focusing on
the development of emotional development, learning to learn, health,
relationships and sexuality education, understanding in the local and global
community); Mr McBurney will act as the co-ordinator within the present
operational plan. |
| Physical Education (focusing on the
development of knowledge, skills and understanding in a range of physical
activities); Miss McAuley will act as the co-ordinator within the present
operational plan. |
| The World Around Us (focusing on
the development of skills and knowledge in geography, history and science
and technology). Mrs Brown will act as the co-ordinator within the present
operational plan. |
It is envisaged that the curriculum leadership team will rotate co-ordinator duties every three years in order that individuals can develop a wide expertise throughout the curriculum.
