Positive Behaviour Programme
Aim:
- To provide young people with the opportunity to explore what self-esteem
means and how this can be developed through exploring and promoting positive
behaviour
Objectives:
- To develop levels of confidence and self-esteem.
- To provide opportunities to explore and develop communication skills
- To explore and promote positive social skills ( interacting with others,
developing friendships)
- To explore what we are responsible for and how our actions and behaviour
can affect others.
- To enable young people to explore what respect is.
Outcomes:
- It is intended that the young people will have positively explored and
developed their social skills. It is also intended that the young people
will have gained knowledge of what self-esteem is and what influences their
self esteem and confidence. It is also anticipated that the young people
will be able to use what they have learned in the transition from Primary to
Secondary Education.
