Consultation on Teachers' Pensions (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations (NI) 2008

A public consultation has now opened on the draft Teachers' Pensions (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations (NI) 2008.  These amendments are to correct a number of minor errors which are of a technical nature.  It is proposed that the rule will come into operation on 31 January 2008 with effect from 1 April 2007.  

The consultation runs from 19 November 2007 to 24 December 2007. You can view the draft Regulations under Teachers' Pensions Scheme Consultations.

Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Legislation - Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) Consultation

Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006 will introduce the most stringent vetting and barring service yet.  The consultation seeks views on a wide range of policy issues that will ensure the successful implementation of the Act and is available on the DCSF Consultations web page.
